Did Pat Robertson Just Endorse Hillary Clinton For President?

Radical right-wing Televangelist Pat Robertson opened Monday’s edition of The 700 Club with what appears to be an endorsement of Hillary Clinton for president! In a report from Right Wing Watch, while comparing Hillary’s presidential campaign to the blockbuster movie, ‘Back To The Future,’ Robertson pondered:

“Are we going back to the 50’s? Well, it looks like one of the candidates wants to take us back to the future and no one is surprised that Hillary Clinton is once again running for president.”

Going back to the 50’s? That’s every Republican’s wet dream, right? Men ventured out into the world and brought home the bacon. A woman’s place was in the kitchen. Preferably barefoot and pregnant. African-Americans and other minorities knew their place. Gays were shunned. Drug addicts suffered from reefer madness. Noble families attended church every Sunday. Men were men, women were women, and boys would be boys.

Has 85-year-old Robertson finally lost it? Has his final screw come loose? Does he truly believe that Hillary Clinton, a woman with impeccable progressive credentials, will send America back in time? Here’s the transcript from The 700 Club. A copy of the video follows. You tell me!

Excerpt from the opening segment of The 700 Club:

“There was a motion picture about a mad scientist who invented a car that took him back to the future. Back to the future or back to the past as the case may be. Are we going back to the 50’s? Is that where we want to be? Or in the 70’s? Well, it looks like one of the candidates wants to take us back to the future and no one is surprised that Hillary Clinton is once again running for president. She’s been gaff prone, but she says she’s ready regardless of what the polls say. She’s got a lot of money built up and a powerful machine to take her back to the future.”
