NYPD Officer Gets Fabulous Instead Of Furious At Gay Pride Parade

Here lately, it seems all we hear and read about police officers is negative. We see horrific stories of brutality, sexual assault, and even murder, on a regular basis. To that end, the general public’s view of law enforcement is currently less than favorable, and that is putting it mildly.

However, there is a good police story to be had from New York City’s Gay Pride celebration – a fun one of a cop dancing with a pride partier. A priceless video was shot and uploaded to YouTube by Paige Ponzeka, who was marching with the Big Apple Softball League, which is an LGBT sports group in New York City, according to Buzzfeed

In the clip, an otherwise unemotional New York City police officer can be seen dancing with an enthusiastic Pride-goer, Aaron Santis, who says he had been trying to get the many cops stationed at the event to dance with him all day. Ponzeka said of the cute, crowd-pleasing dance:

“The cop was standing there all stoic. As soon as Aaron started dancing with him, grinding up against him, the cop tried to stay still but then he just got super into it.”

The crowd loved it. It was an awesome moment.”

Santis seemed thrilled with the performance of the one cop he got to dance with him, saying:

“I didn’t expect him to get into it as much as he did. The crowd just loved it and I think it made him want to dance more.

“It was such a fun moment. He was such a good sport and I’m so glad he decided to dance.”

Despite the fact that the dancer and the person who filmed this awesome moment have both been identified, the cop, who people seem to universally agree is quite attractive, remains a mystery man. So, New Yorkers, if you know who this hot cop is, let us know so we can thank him for the show, and for being such a great sport.
