One Clear Sign a Campaign is in Real Trouble

by teacherken – is when people in the campaign are willing, even if only anonymously, to talk the press about the problems of the campaign and especially of the candidate. Another is when prominent people whose support one needs are willing to have their names attached to criticisms of the campaign and the candidate. Both can clearly be seen in an article for Sunday’s New York Times that went live on the website shortly before noon.  Written by Alexander Burns and Maggie Haberman, the title itself is very telling:  Inside the Failing Mission to Save Donald Trump From Himself.
